Best Practices + TEACH
_edited.png)
Currently, Canada is lacking clear movement behaviour policy for childcare. However, recognizing that policy alone is insufficient to change behaviour, the TEACH e-Learning module—shown to improve educators’ knowledge and self-efficacy—provides complementary training to support implementation success.
The purpose of the Best Practices + TEACH study is to pilot and evaluate the implementation and feasibility of this multicomponent intervention and its associated assessments prior to full-scale rollout. Specifically, the study will examine:
-
dose, adherence, and feasibility of implementing both Best Practices and TEACH in combination within childcare centres, and
-
the impact on early childhood educator practices and the childcare environment.

Together, these components aim to create more active, movement-rich childcare settings for young children.

We are now recruiting for this study! Please see the Participant Recruitment section of our website for more information.
