Aidan Loh
Combined MPT/PhD Student

Aidan is pursuing a combined Master of Physical Therapy and PhD through the Faculty of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences at Western University. He completed his undergraduate degree in Clinical Kinesiology at Western, where he first joined the Child Health and Physical Activity Lab as a volunteer. Aidan’s doctoral research focuses on the role of exercise therapy as a rehabilitation strategy for children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). His work aims to improve clinical care and promote physical activity among children living with chronic musculoskeletal conditions. He is committed to bridging research and practice through community-based initiatives that empower children to lead healthy lives. Aidan is also a Collaborative Specialization in Musculoskeletal Health Research Trainee with the Western Bone and Joint Institute, where he is expanding his interdisciplinary training to help shape the future of musculoskeletal health care and research. Outside of the lab, he enjoys running, spending time with friends, and exploring the outdoors.
