Stavroula Aggelonitis

Stavroula Aggelonitis is a third-year student at Western University pursuing an Honours Specialization in Family Studies and Human Development and simultaneously pursuing a certificate at Ivey in Purpose-Driven Leadership. Having grown up playing soccer and other sports, Stavroula developed a love for staying active. She has also gained volunteer experience at a speech-language pathology practice, supporting young children at summer camps, and volunteering with a music organization. These diverse opportunities have strengthened her commitment to working with children and her interest in how healthy body and mind activities can positively shape childhood development and life-long well-being. In the Child Health and Physical Activity Lab, Stavroula hopes to explore the role of active lifestyles in supporting children’s growth while encouraging accessible, engaging opportunities for health and play. Outside of academics, Stavroula enjoys playing music, going for walks, and discovering new matcha spots.
