Vanko Umasuthan

Vanko is a fourth-year undergraduate student pursuing an honours specialization in Biochemistry. Having grown up playing sports, he has developed a strong appreciation for the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle. From his experiences volunteering with the City of Markham’s recreational programs, he became interested in promoting physical activity, especially among the youth. He currently works on the MOBILITY Study where he assists with drop-offs and collections. Outside of his academic commitments, Vanko also volunteers at the Gait and Brain Lab and has continued his passion in sports.
